Reverend Will Greene is proud to be the first pastor of St. Paul Church at the Lake. His vision is to build a Christ-centered, inclusive congregation where all can find hope and purpose.
My Story
Rev. Greene was born in Santee, SC and raised in Asheville, NC, and has had the privilege of serving in a variety of ministry roles within powerful ministries, which include The Park Ministries, New Birth Charlotte, Greater Vision UMC, Plaza UMC, and Faith UMC of Mooresville, NC.
Greene has been blessed to work in many areas of ministry including Youth Ministry, Singles Ministry, Senior Adult Ministry, & Married Couples Ministry. Greene is a former college professor which allowed him to become a skilled facilitator and teacher. Greene has a passion for teaching bible studies, seminars, & small/large groups studies.
Rev. Greene has been married to Dr. Tamikia Greene since 2000. Together they have 6 adult children and enjoy spending time as a family.
Rev. Greene is bi-vocational and also works as a Lead Scrum Master for a Charlotte-based financial institution. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Information Systems from DeVry University, a Master’s Certification in Project Management from George Washington School of Business & Public Management, and a Master of Science Degree in Organizational Change & Leadership/Christian Education from Pfeiffer University.
